"Back to the Cross!"
We've all heard a message or read an article along these lines–telling us that we are distant from the cross and we need to make the journey back.
The cross is central to our Christianity. Yet typically, the 'getting back to the cross' message is presented as a morbid, solemn experience of deep reflection, remorse, and sorrow–but there is much more to the cross than we realize.
The cross presents us with the singularly most powerful and enormous work of God in the earth.
To get back to the cross, is to get back to an amazing life, based on the death and resurrection of Jesus, rather then the efforts of man.
