Overweights of Joy by Amy Carmichael, 1907

This volume forms the second of Amy Carmichael's manuscripts written during her early years in India. "Overweights of Joy" was written as a follow-up to "Things as They Are", a sobering piece that shocked the supporting churches of her day. "Overweights of Joy" was written to counterbalance "Things" with glimpses of the blessings of her work, despite the darkness of the spiritual powers she was fighting.
