Uses the epilogue of Lew Wallace's book to tell what happened to Ben Hur. After losing his family in a shipwreck, he also loses his faith, goes to Rome, becomes a confidante of Nero's, loses favour, joins the legion to fight against Boudicca, and finally returns to Rome in time for Nero's death.
