Sub-Merge: Living Deep in a Shallow World by Ashley Barker & John Hayes

Sub-merge is a manifesto, a call to join what God is doing among poor and marginlised communities, those who are shut out from the consumption economies of the world. It is written by two people who have journeyed to a place beneath the cousumer mirage of  style, spending and ostentatious display, and who have been transformed by what they term "sub merging" going beneath the surface of consumer sociey's needs and aspiarions and finding real life with Christ among those facing pverty and injustice.
