Work and Property &c. (1937) is a collection of eight essays and lectures by British artist, sculptor, and social critic Eric Gill. The book, illustrated by his son-in-law Denis Tegetmeier, argues against the dehumanizing effects of industrial capitalism, advocating instead for a, "theology of work" where labor is a personal, creative act rather than just a means of production.
